Advice and support for job search and career planning
You can make use of our consulting services for all questions regarding career orientation, internships, career entry and applications.
Our consulting services are free of charge and open to all University of Konstanz students, doctoral researchers and graduates (until two years after graduating). Our advisors have all completed a certified advisor training programme and possess many years of experience in job-search and career advising.
The contents of your individual consultation remain confidential; you and the issue discussed will stay anonymous. Our consultations are open, unbiased and resource-based. This means you are completely free to make all the decisions yourself. We assist you with assessing problems for yourself and making your own decisions.
Arrange your appointment
You can arrange appointments for our consulting services using our appointment tool.
You can also simply send us your documents by email to cs.beratung@uni-konstanz.de and ask for a brief, written feedback.
Our consulting services
- You can book a detailed consultation (60 min)
- Or a short consultation (20 min) for short matters, such as a CV check or a LinkedIn profile check
- Please note that there are no short consultations during the lecture-free period. (During lecture period on Tuesday, 3:30 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. and on Wednesday, 10:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.)
- We can consult with you in German or English
- In person or online (via Zoom)
- You can choose a specific consultant or view all available appointments
- You can upload your documents in advance as a PDF

- Please note whether you booked online or in person
- If you are unable to attend the appointment, please write a short cancellation to the consultant named in the email
