Reliable, professional and flexible childcare is the basis for successfully balancing research, career and study responsibilities with family life.
Registration should take place at the time of birth. The deadline for the last possible registration for crèche, kindergarten and after-school care places (start in September) in Konstanz is March 1st of a year. This means that you, as a prospective student, must register for a place in a day nursery or after-school care centre early (before you have been promised a place at university). The prerequisite for a childcare place in Konstanz is that you live in Konstanz (residency in Switzerland does not meet this prerequisite). We will be happy to advise you on this.
