University of Konstanz Alumni Association (Verein der Ehemaligen der Universität Konstanz e. V.)
The Alumni Association “VEUK” was founded in 1997 and operates as a non-profit organization. The purpose of the association is, among other things, to intensify contact between alumni and current students.

Honorary members and honorary chair
Dr. Michael Kessler
Dr. Michael Kessler was appointed honorary member in 2021 for his special commitment as treasurer 2005–2021.
Prof. Dr. Dr. h. c. Ulrich Rüdiger
Prof. Dr. Dr. h. c. Ulrich Rüdiger was appointed honorary member in 2019 for his special commitment as chairman 2013–2015 and as ex officio member 2013–2018.
Hanns Fahlbusch
Hanns Fahlbusch was appointed honorary member in 2017 for his special commitment as chairman 2009–2013 and as honorary executive director 1997–2009.
Katja Schwanke
Katja Schwanke was appointed honorary member in 2011 for her special commitment to bringing together the University of Konstanz Alumni Association (VEUK e. V.) and the Konstanz Network of Politics and Public Administration Scientists (KonNet e. V.).
Dr. Gerhild Framhein-Peisert
Dr. Gerhild Framhein-Peisert was appointed honorary member in 2009 for her special commitment as board member from 1997–2009.
✝ Prof. Dr. Dr. h. c. mult. Horst Sund
✝ Prof. Dr. Dr. h. c. mult. Horst Sund was appointed honorary chair in 2008 for his special commitment as chair 1997–2005.
Our honorary members and honorary chair Horst Sund, who sadly passed away in 2021, have made outstanding contributions to VEUK e. V. and steadily developed and expanded the University of Konstanz’ alumni network. We are very grateful for their exceptional dedication and support.

According to Art. 37 para. 4 DS-GVO in conjunction with. § Section 38 (1) BDSG, no data protection officer is appointed.
