Receiving third-party funding is not only an important measure of success, based on which the academic qualification of researchers is evaluated. Often acquiring funding or obtaining a grant is also the prerequisite for young researches to spend their postdoc studies at a place of their choice or to improve their qualifications.

During this information event, we will guide you – in a very compact form – through the grant application process, starting with questions of which funding source is the right one for you and your project and which sort of funding your project requires. Further, we will go through the elements of writing and submitting a grant proposal as well as the review process and what to do if a project is rejected (hint: do not give up). Additionally, we will draw your attention to further support opportunities and, of course, there will be enough time for all of your questions.
