forum.konstanz is a key project in the overall strategy "University of Konstanz - creative.together". It brings people and ideas together and shapes transitions, such as between disciplines, between research and teaching, and between the university and society. The new building project forum.konstanz creates new space for this mission and thus represents the structural implementation of the overall strategy of the University of Konstanz.

Flexible, centrally-located rooms for top-level research in the natural sciences: interdisciplinary core facilities and laboratories available in particular for independent researchers in the early stage of their careers
Space for spin-offs, start-ups and technology transfer
Shared areas for communication that are designed for spin-offs, start-ups and technology transfer, as well as a central contact point for advice of the Knowledge- and Technology Transfer (WTT)-team.
Space for exchange between research and society
Spacious new areas that can be used flexibly for a number of established event and exhibition formats as well as for innovative formats of science communication
Open meeting areas
People can connect and exchange ideas in an inviting environment that takes the proven concept of the common centres at our university even further and that also has attractive catering facilities
