Team two is responsible for:
- Legal advice on the development and amendment of study programmes, including advice and review of new or amended study and examination regulations as well as other regulations, such as admission regulations
- Advice/review of rules of procedure, other regulations, administrative regulations, guidelines (unless team 1 is responsible)
- Legal advice for drafts for committees, creation and publishing of regulations, reading versions
- Advice on legal questions related to university and exam law, review of legally valid exam and admission notifications, legal representation, templates of examination and degree certificates
- Advice on and review of national and international collaboration agreements related to teaching and doctoral research
- Advice on legal aspects in the context of system accreditation
- Membership in the Central Examination Board
- Legal advice in election matters
- Advice on legal matters of the Students' Union, particularly its regulations and elections
- Legal review of English translations of examination and admission regulations as well as other legally relevant texts of the university
Team three is responsible for:
- Civil law matters, especially contracts and liability matters, unless team four is responsible
- Compensation matters
- Basic issues of copyright law and intellectual property law as well as industrial property rights
- Legal matters related to criminal law and the right to restrict access to university grounds
- Review of staff regress matters
- Social security matters, especially legal issues involving accident insurance
- Authorization of the use of the university logo
- Labour disputes (settlement negotiations, legal representation in court) (on behalf of Human Resources)
- Contracts for visiting researchers (on behalf of Human Resources)
- Complaint point as per § 13 AGG

Team four is responsible for:
- Data protection law
- Fundamental questions of data protection law and development of university-specific solutions
- Processing data protection law issues from administration and sections/departments
- Examination of and advice on personal data processing operations
- Maintaining the register of processing activities (VVT)
- Reviewing and drafting data processing agreements and joint responsibility agreements
- Conducting training courses on data protection law
- Reviewing and approving data sharing agreements in research
- Processing data breaches, communication with the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (LfDI)
