Senior Fellow Philip Welch at the Zukunftskolleg
We welcome our new Senior Fellow Philip Welch at the Zukunftskolleg. He was invited by Research Fellow Carolin Antos-Kuby and will stay in Konstanz until the end of June.
Philip Welch holds a professorship at the Department of Mathematics at the University of Bristol, UK.
He is currently the President of the British Logic Colloquium (the national society representing Logic in the UK) and the President of the European Set Theory Society (since 2022). He is seen as an outstanding researcher in the field of mathematical logic, especially in set theory. His work on determinacy and inner models has shaped set theory in the last decades.
His research project at the Zukunftskolleg focuses on "Second order aspects of multiversism".
