The Career Passport

Your steps towards professionalism.

Highlight your preparation for a career start in Germany

We are happy to support you with a wide range of offers to prepare you for your career start. And with the help of the Career Passport certificate, you can prove to potential employers that you have used the time during your studies to be ready for your entry into the labour market.

How do you get the Career Passport certificate?

It's quite simple: During your studies, you should attend activities that prepare you for your career entry. You are also welcome to seek advice from the Career Service to discuss which programmes are best suited to your professional goals. If you have attended courses from at least five of the seven areas, you can apply for your personalised Career Passport certificate (example) using the form below. We have put together an overview of the seven areas and the documents of proof you need to submit.

What are the benefits of the Career Passport certificate?

You can attach the certificate to your application to signal to potential employers that you have made a special effort during your studies to prepare yourself well for starting your career. On the one hand, this demonstrates your competences and, at the same time, shows that your future employer is gaining a highly motivated employee. Sounds good? Then request your certificate below!
